Dr. Judy Mandrell's Bio

Dr. Judy Mandrell is the proud wife of the visionary, anointed teacher, and pastor, Superintendent Gerald Mandrell since October 17, 1981. Their daughter Brittany, preceded them in death, July 4, 1988. She is the proud daughter of District Missionary Irma Hunter Wesley and the late Brother Sylvester Wesley, Sr. She graduated from Florida A & M University, with a Bachelor of Social Work, and received a Master of Executive Leadership and Doctorate of Christian Leadership from Clarity International Christian University.

Dr. Judy Mandrell has always been a person who believes we all are better together.  As a child growing up in Ft. Lauderdale with her parents and five other siblings, she would take food, clothes and jewelry from her mom and give them to women and children she felt deserved the finer things in life.  Due to her family having much in life, she believed her family was rich and that she had an obligation to provide others with the same opportunity. Her dream growing up was to be a Social Worker and an Evangelist so she could help people see their value and become whatever they wanted to become.  She believes everyone has value, worth, and something great to offer to the world in which they live.

She has spent her life serving people, empowering, inspiring, and making pathways for others to follow.  Dr. Judy believes that the earlier one becomes involved in a person’s life, the benefit of establishing positive dreams and desires early is greater.  Thus, she is the founder, owner, and CEO of Dream Builders Greatness Child Development Center getting involved in developing and shaping the lives of children and families from ages six weeks to five years old.

Dr. Mandrell is the international host of her own radio show “REAL TALK WITH JUDY LIVE RADIO SHOW” which airs weekly on HALLELUJAH 95.3 FM with a large listening audience locally, statewide, and worldwide.

Dr. Mandrell is the Founder and Organizer of the “REAL TALK SISTER GIRLS NETWORK.” The mission of The SISTER GIRLS NETWORK is to unite women from various organizations, groups, clubs, etc. in the bond of sisterhood to significantly improve fellowship, trust, and relationships among all women inclusively. She envisions a world in which all women, inclusively, are nurtured and empowered to reach their fullest potential.

Dr. Mandrell has established the DREAM BUILDERS FAMILY AFFAIRS Program. She and her team go into the homes of families; provide family training, conduct seminars, and workshops, and facilitate family outings, all for the sole purpose of “MAKING HOME SWEET AGAIN.” Since COVID-19 she and her team are providing these services to families in Title One schools.

Dr. Mandell’s life is a life pointing the way, taking risks, breaking barriers, cutting through obstacles, and envisioning a different future for all.  She has a faith that turns dreams into reality for other people and herself. She is a path maker.  Her genuineness, love, passion, and joy are felt throughout her community, city, and by everyone, she touches.  She will make it happen for everyone and with everyone.
